The program "Outreach den Akshon" (ODA), which means "Outreach in Action" in Papiamentu, is a radio program that started in January 2000 by Dennis Albertus and some other young people. It was and still is the only radio program in Bonaire that is completely organized by young people. In the beginning the program had only 30 minutes of air time at "Ritmo FM 97.1." After that the program was an hour long on Saturday afternoons.
Three years later when Ritmo FM 97.1 was closed, the program was transferred to "Radio Digital 91.1 FM," where the young people were offered 2 hours of air time.
In 2007 ODA received a great offer of 3 hours from "Voz di Bonaire 94.7 FM" and decided to move to that station where it still has the program today, between 1 o'clock and 4 in the afternoon on Saturdays.
During all the years this youth radio program has been supported by different big and small companies who believed in these young people.
